ApeNET: a delegation from the Sant'Anna School present at the National Assembly held on Thursday 9 and Friday 10 November at the University of Palermo

The annual event of APENET, the Association "Italian Network of Universities and Research Institutions for Public Engagement" organized in Palermo on 9 and 10 November, brought together delegations from over 50 universities and research institutions, a greater number than the previous editions.

The Sant'Anna School was present at the event with a delegation from the Third Mission which during the year actively participated in the APENET working groups in the contexts of networking, communication and monitoring.

Two days to discuss models and approaches, organizational and dissemination contexts, monitoring tools and training paths with an eye towards the future. During the social event, ample space was given to sharing experiences and good practices of public engagement.

The proceedings were opened by Massimo Midiri, Rector of the University of Palermo and Antonio Uricchio, President of ANVUR, the National Agency for the Evaluation of the University System and Research.

During the days, speakers included Fulvio Esposito from the Inequalities and Diversity Forum, Maurizio Tira from the University of Brescia, President of the GARR Consortium and member of the board of the European University Association, Michele Lanzinger, Director of the MUSE Science Museum of Trento, among others. , and Des McNulty, deputy chair of the Glasgow Commission for Economic Growth.
